Lab Supply Limited is a specialist supplier of laboratory, scientific, research and related products. Our products are supplied for legitimate business, scientific, educational, healthcare, research, industrial and other approved professional purposes and are not generally intended for sale to the general public.
Customer Eligibility
To establish an account or purchase products from Lab Supply on a prepaid basis, a customer must ordinarily:
- Be a legitimate business, educational institution, research organisation, healthcare organisation, government entity or other organisation approved by Lab Supply;
- Hold a valid New Zealand Business Number (NZBN), or equivalent organisational or institutional identifier where applicable;
- Provide a genuine business, institutional or laboratory address; and
- Operate, or have authorised access to, an appropriate laboratory, testing, research, manufacturing or other professional facility where this is reasonably required for the products being purchased.
Lab Supply may request information or documentation reasonably necessary to verify a customer's identity, organisation, facilities or intended use before accepting an account application or order.
Appropriate and Lawful Use
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products purchased from Lab Supply are suitable for their intended application and are used only for legitimate and lawful purposes.
Customers must comply with all applicable:
- Product instructions and specifications;
- Manufacturer conditions and restrictions on use;
- Safety Data Sheets and product safety requirements;
- Laws and regulatory requirements;
- Licences, permits and approvals including certified handlers certificates, exempt laboratory declarations etc. ;
- Hazardous substance and dangerous goods requirements; and
- Accepted industry and laboratory standards.
Where a product is designated for research use only, laboratory use only, professional use only, diagnostic use or another specified purpose, the customer must comply with that designation and any associated manufacturer or regulatory restrictions.
Right to Decline Supply
Lab Supply reserves the right, at its discretion, to:
- Request further information concerning a customer, facility or intended product use;
- Restrict access to particular products;
- Decline an account application;
- Refuse or cancel an order; or
- Suspend or close an account,
Where Lab Supply is unable to reasonably verify the customer's identity, eligibility, facilities, regulatory compliance or intended use, or where Lab Supply considers that supply may create a safety, legal, regulatory or reputational risk.
Lab Supply may apply additional eligibility or documentation requirements to particular products or product categories.
